Hundreds of years ago the Himeji area was home to the master sword craftsmen of that area and the secrets of the sword craftsmen have been passed down from generation to generation.  This rich history is why the Himeji area is commonly known as the “Steel Region of Japan”.  Over the past 75 years a strong tradition of precision golf club manufacturing has developed, the region has shifted from the production of swords to the production of high-end hand-crafted to precision, forged custom golf clubs.  In 1942 Katsuhiro Miura was born and at the young age of 16 he began developing custom golf clubs by adapting the art of steel from his historic surroundings in Himeji, Japan.  For more than 40 years he has earned the highest respect for the high level of quality of his hand made custom golf clubs.
